The team is diverse and dynamic with many different roles and capabilities such as developers, testers, product owners and business analysts. You will work in the forefront of technology in close cooperation with developers. Your contributions will have impact on delivery, technical solutions and innovations for the latest mobile services in the market. As a part of the Bill-IT team you will work on improving and supporting our charging systems etc.
As a Developer you are very much involved in the daily work within our cross functional billing and charging team. You will work in an agile development team where you will be involved in design, implementation, and testing, where your typical day will be made of up of Java, Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, Spring, GIT, PYTHON and more.
Together in the team and in close partnership with our internal clients we are accountable for finding the best technical solution on the requirements in our prioritized backlog. We are committed to delivering the requirements that create most value, having the client and end-users in focus. But also seeking continuous improvement. As a part of the team you will contribute with your knowledge and in the team, there is no prestige – we like to help each other, and we often try new working areas outside our specific roles. All our developers continuously work to support full lifecycle of application development, including unit testing, code reviews, documentation.
This is what you need to succeed
To succeed as a Developer in the Bill-IT team you need to have experience from agile development. We believe you have a wide knowledge and passion for developing API’s and development in general (for both consumers and services). We believe that you have solid experience in Java and good understanding of REST style of software architecture. We believe that you have good experience working with Apache ActiveMQ, Tomcat and Spring.
Good communications skills are necessary since you will be working with many different people both inside the company and with our partners.
We highly value drive and curiosity and for this role, we believe you strong analytical skills! You are a team player who establishes contacts easily.
